The women of Greater Middle Baptist Church were the collective honorees of the 2025 Annual Women’s Day, in which they led the congregation in song, prayer, and praise in a day worth celebrating. This year’s event, themed “Women Rooted in Christ, Flourishing in Grace,” was held Sunday, November 9, 2025.
GMBC members, visitors, and friends welcomed special guest and featured speaker, Dr. TeNita Freeman. Freeman is a preacher, educator, and motivational speaker.
The congregational hymn for the day was “Holy, Holy, Holy,” and the congregational Scripture as Colossians 2:6-10.
Program chairpersons were Sis. Tamara Jones, Sis. Sandra Hubbard, and Sis. Tangela Taylor. Other Women’s Day Committee members were Sisters Anita Allen, Renee Bond, Luada Buckner, Louise Burks, Dorothy Cleaves, Jonnie Cole, Judge Bernice Donald, Gail Currie, Brenda Echols, Antionette Holman, Bettye Jones, Leola Jones, Phyllis Jones, Lydia Lay, Maggie Marshall, Carolyn Long, Rita Range, Charlotte Rivers, Sydney Smith, and Tracie Taylor.
A special “Thank you” goes to Christi Davidson, Essie Jones, Richard Jones, Wesley Lay, Ernest Long, Caden Maclin, Antonio Smith, and Brittni Wright.
We thank GOD for His many unmerited blessings and favor upon the GMBC 2025 Annual Women’s Day. It was an overwhelming success!
