Greater Middle Baptist Church is a beacon of hope in the Greater Memphis community and surrounding areas. For more than 194 years, GMBC has positively impacted lives by preaching and teaching Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe in the transformative power of The Holy Spirit, and we are currently seeking a Spirit-filled leader with the same drive, vision, compassion, and determination needed to build God’s Kingdom on Earth.
The Pastor of Greater Middle Baptist Church will serve as the spiritual leader, teacher, and shepherd of the congregation. Pastor will lead in worship, provide pastoral care, oversee ministries, offer in-person visits and counsel, and promote spiritual growth in alignment with the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Pastor will also serve as a community ambassador, guiding the church in fulfilling its mission to spread the Gospel and support those in need.
