”Blessed are the dead which die in The LORD from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.” – Revelations 14:13b
We thank GOD for the life and legacy of service of Deacon Arthur T. Bennett.
We extend our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences to the Bennett family and to the entire GMBC church family.
We honor and commemorate the life and legacy of Sis. Doris Armstrong, a staple among the GMBC congregation and in the community.
Let us keep the family of Sis. Armstrong in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
The Greater Middle Baptist Church family recently celebrated 101 years of blessings during a homegoing celebration honoring long-time member, Sis. Mary Emma Fletcher — a phenomenal woman of God and inspiration.
Blessed and talented, Sis. Fletcher served on the Mothers Board, sang in the choir, and worked as a seamstress well into her nineties! Her drape designs still hang at GMBC.
Her contributions and legacy will never be forgotten.
